STL Police Union Official Stands By Controversial Post on Dallas Shooting

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – A top St. Louis Police Officers’ Association official is defending a Facebook post, in which he tells President Barack Obama that the blood of the police officers killed in Dallas is on his hands.

The post shows blood-covered hands and reads “This blood is on your hands, Mr. President.”

Roorda tweet

The Association tweeted a screenshot of the post with the comment, “I do hope you’re happy Barack Obama.”

That tweet has since been deleted.

Association Business Manager Jeff Roorda tells KMOX he stands by his post, but he doesn’t want to discuss it right now. He says that would only serve as a distraction from the “cold-blooded murder of police officers in Dallas.”
